The Idea Blog

One of the podcasts to which I subscribe is WNYC’s Radio Lab, a marvelous, 60-minute exploration of a science or cultural topic. (It’s easy to find on iTunes as a podcast, or click on the link in the first sentence.)

More recently the show entitled The Ring and I introduced me to Wagner’s Ring series of operas. It was ear-opening, to say the least, and if you believe you love music, go download it now, pop it onto your iPod, and take a long walk. The hour or so you’ll spend listening to this show is only one-twentieth of the opera’s span, but it will make you want to buy and listen to that too.
