Can the new Apple tablet device save magazines?

In my most recent What am I thinking? I mentioned Apple’s rumored iSlate. I know I want one – you know I want one – but this column from Bloomberg BusinessWeek says a lot of magazine publishers want us to have one. Some interesting thinking here.

Then, of course, the tablet device was introduced by Apple in late January. There’s been a lot of coverage, a goodly amount of blogging and I’ve posted a Facebook message and a few tweets about what I thought and what others were saying about what know now to be the iPad.

Finally, as I walked the neighborhood today, I listened to a podcast from NPR which made me aware of a MadTV spoof from 2007. A full three years ago comedians were spoofing an Apple product name that didn’t exist yet. Here you go:
