- Send your employees to customer service training. Make it a requirement to be cordial and welcoming. I don’t need much, just a little smile…not someone who never looks up from their computer terminal. If it’s a crappy job or a lousy employer, quit.

We’ll hire someone who can meet this minimal requirement.

I sent this link on to my wife and intend to have my about-to-be-an-eighth-grader watch it as well. Exciting to watch. I just wish I had known about it for the 7th grade year. Looking forward to going deep into this with my son. Thanks for sharing.

It’s like the Jetson’s meets Star Trek, especially interesting since I just watched the two Hans Rosling videos (The magic washing machine and the joy of stats). How does this future world pictured in this video play into the ideas of economic inequality and energy consumption that Rosling touches on? Obviously, this is not a lifestyle that everyone, across the planet, can have. Will we be forcing certain people and/or cultures back into the corner of Rosling’s stat chart as as result or will they continue to see growth?
