What would you do?

I loved watching Fred Friendly’s “What would you do?” series. A bunch of important people sitting around a table as a modern-day Socrates leads them in discussion about a simple, yet thorny topic.

YouTube in particular - and video on the web in general - help preserve some of the best of what was once on broadcast TV and on cable. And this particular CBS News Special deals with the difference between news and entertainment.

They’re all sitting ’round the table: Dan Rather, Don Hewitt, Mike Wallace, Geraldo Rivera and many others. Essentially playing themselves. Give yourself some time to watch the all of the parts. It’s worth it, believe me.

What’s your idea?
