No interns this year
In past years we’ve had one or two interns working with us over the summer. I usually tell them the same thing: we don’t pay much (a maximum $1,000 “stipend”), but we’ll expose you to how we work. Last year there were two working with us, usually on different days: Kelly Price, a then rising junior at Washington & Lee, and Ashley Roberts (sitting, in the photo above), a rising senior at Chapel Hill. Now only three of our staff of six works out of our world HQ in Greensboro, so we’ve decided it’s probably not a good thing to take on an intern. Their exposure would be much too limited. It likely wouldn’t be as valuable an experience.
My guilt? Where may an intern learn about “an idea company” now?

What’s your idea?
