Will they come today?
We’ve had problems receiving HBO and also with a faulty set-top box, so for the second time today I’m waiting around the house hoping against home that Comcast will show up within their promised 8-11 AM window. Our tech was a no-show on Wednesday. The Comcast CSR, when I called, apologized for their not getting to me, apologized (”deeply sorry,” her script told her to say) for not calling to let me know they wouldn’t make it and said they would apply a credit to my next bill. (We’ll see.)
So we’re scheduled for today. (We’ll see.)
Meanwhile, I snapped this photo at the island’s only gas/convenience store. There were six Comcast-branded vans in all. You’d think one of them might be able to drop by…
