MLK special on History Channel
Last year I read the three volume biography of Martin Luther King by Taylor Branch, a monumental and certainly not-too-exhaustive study. There’s little I’ll learn, I’m sure, in watching tonight’s special on the History Channel, but seeing - instead of just reading about or hearing - seeing King speak is worth the time.
Here’s a brief promo to the special on today’s Meet the Press.
And here’s a bit more from the Meet the Press Take 2 segment.
This week has seen a number of stories, references and programs commemorating Dr. King’s death. Most have been fascinating. And I’m sure tonight’s special will be powerful as well.
What’s your idea?
