Last evening I was doing a chore around the back of the house when I looked up and saw a marauding band of venison steaks feasting on some wild grasses not 25 yards from where I stood. Photojournalist that I am, I of course happened to have my digital nearby.

I followed the migrating herd for about five minutes, and in studying their clan I learned that their kind has grown much too confident and audacious as it comes to their rightful position among the creatures here on the Isle of Palms.
