“Sought … In an Edinburgh court last week, the overturning of Nairn GC’s year-long suspension of a member accused of cheating during a club match,” opens a “Bunker” item in the July 6 Golf World. “According to the Scotsman, an attorney for Lindsay Smith, a 1-handicapper and Royal Bank of Scotland employee, told a … judge his client is not guilty of charges he improperly marked his ball during a September 2006 competition and that Smith’s ability to do his job has been compromised by the suspension.”
I don’t agree with the idea of banning him from the club. Let him come out and try to find a game. That would be a suitable punishment.
