Gifts of the digital age
It is customary for the current or reigning PGA champion and his wife to give gifts to previous champions and their wives at a dinner honoring all just before the tournament begins. This year, Tiger and Elin went digital. This from the Golf Channel:
Elin Woods picked out a digital picture frame for the wives that came with a selection of photos of their husbands winning the PGA Championship. Woods gave the winners an iPod that had broadcast video highlights of their PGA victor[ies].
Now that’s pretty cool.
