Russia and Georgia
I hate what’s happening there. But I’m almost equally disgusted with the Bush Administration’s pretension that Russia’s invasion is so very different from our incursion into Iraq.
Here’s a soundbite from Secretary Rice today on Meet The Press.
“This is not 1968 and the invasion of Czechoslovakia, where Russia can threaten its neighbors, occupy a capital, overthrow a government and get away with it. Things have changed.”
