Cooking up something good
Last night’s NBC Nightly News featured a segment on a chef who is teaching inner-city kids how to be masters of the kitchen. It’s another good example of how all kinds of folks can make a contribution to our education system, both inside and outside the schools.
It also reminded me of a night my friend Rick Hall treated some of us to our own private lessons at the Charleston Culinary Institute.
