We’re working on a project for SoloRider, the leading manufacturer of single-passenger golf cars designed for the mobility-impaired. I won’t use this post for an explication of the product’s features. Rather I prefer to fill in the sentence begun in the headline this way:
Golf is a game for Skipper.
Dean Wagner art directed a shoot today, and the talent (or “model”) really lived up to the description (”talent,” that is). Here’s what Dean reported: “Keith, our model in the green shirt … is impaired, and the reason the SoloRider is there [at Longleaf, the site of our photo shoot]. He is a former skipper of a nuclear submarine.”
I’ve always said you meet the best people - many of them at their best - on the golf course. A product like this just means you have the chance to meet more of the best people.
There are hundreds of thousands of Skippers out there. For many of them to enjoy the game of a lifetime, all they need is a little help. That’s what SoloRider is … a little help for some folks who really appreciate it.
