Don’t you just love it when research bears out what you’ve been saying all along?

For a few years now I’ve told people that I enjoy golf more now than ever, even as my skills diminish. Why? “Because I control where I play and with whom,” I tell anyone who asks … or who will listen.

Well, take a look at this graph, which appeared in the September 12, 2008, issue of Golf World. “What drives play? Who people play with and the place they play.”

I could have told ‘em years ago.
