Holiday Inn-terruptus
Okay. It’s already been covered here and here and here, but can I just say that one of the worst side effects of the Internet has to be the spread of super-beveled, drop-shadowed, gradient-laden, swooshy rebrandings? UPS was but one example of a classic going all glossy, and it seems Holiday Inn has followed suit. Instead of a bargain hotel chain, it seems more like something I’m supposed to ask my doctor about. Oh, wacky backwards-slanting script - you will be missed.
