Say "hi" to your idea company.

The name on the door might be “Burris,” but step inside and you’ll find a collective brain trust of people who love ideas. While ad agencies talk about “getting the right people in the room,” we’re already there – figuratively, of course – and welcome you to join us. No standing on formality here. Big ideas don’t wait for schedules. They’re happening right now.

Mark seeks a digital lifestyle. Not the “Second Life” kind, but he likes his notes in a MacBook and his files in a cloud. “One ball off the first tee, play it down, putt ‘em out, keep and post the score.” Golf provides a mirror and an honest reflection of one’s true character. Let’s play.

In life and in design, Anne’s personal mantra is “keep it simple.” It would have to be, considering she thrives on complex projects with multiple objectives, several moving parts and overlapping timelines. Anne credits her kids—and a healthy obsession with yoga—with her ability to slow down and take it all in.

It seems fitting that Eric, our full-time interactive designer, should come to work every day via webcam. He lives in the virtual world (Virginia, actually) creating real solutions for our clients—everything from branded online experiences and multimedia sales tools to complete websites from the ground up.

Lyn does it all, from client service to project management to production—sometimes all at once. Resourceful? This is a woman who survived three days alone on a deserted island with only three gallons of water and a granola bar (and says she had fun doing it).

Dean is a sucker for a great idea. He’s been known to buy ten-dollar pancake mix at Williams-Sonoma just for the packaging. Seeing an idea come to life—creating “something I can hold in my hand”—that’s what gets him going. We’re just waiting for him to get inspired and redesign the piles on his desk.

A former Burrisite and now independent business owner at Burris2, Inc. Jack thrives on tackling challenges and creating innovative solutions for clients, franchise brands and friends. He’s calm under pressure and enjoys the collaborative approach BURRIS brings to marketing and communications.

Kristen loves a good story, whether that means telling one or pitching one. Her collaboration with the BURRIS team helps ensure that PR opportunities are established early and often in the project development cycle. And if you're wondering if she and Neil know each other, they do.

With fresh ideas about marketing and communications, Burris helps organizations build their brands.
