Anne Cassity
In life and in design, Anne’s personal mantra is “keep it simple.” It would have to be, considering she thrives on complex projects with multiple objectives, several moving parts and overlapping timelines. Anne, who handles brand identity and collateral design, credits her kids—and a healthy obsession with yoga—with her ability to slow down and take it all in.
“I like working at Burris because I’m surrounded every day by a group of dedicated and talented professionals who operate at full throttle but still maintain an enduring sense of humor.”
Fresh ideas in progress
- It’s been a busy couple of months for us, as we helped Stanley launch a new adult collection, The Classics. I’ve been involved with this collection catalog, as well as a group of smaller consumer “digest” catalogs for 6 leading collections. In addition, I’ve had some fun with a new product launch for a line of organic clothing called “Ahimsa.”
- On the personal front, I’m enjoying watching daily “new arrivals” in my garden and I’m working up plans for expanding the plantings in my front yard. Last year we made a commitment to a “greener” landscape design which includes no grass! Needless to say, there’s still a lot of hard work to be done.

- Movie: Milk Great film, well acted and produced. Especially noteworthy is the way actual footage is incorporated in the film, giveing this a documentary-esque feel.
